How To Use Greenworks 2000 PSI Pressure washer

If you are going to use a brand new un-assembled Greenworks 2000 pressure washer, start reading the whole article. And if you have already assembled the machine, skip 3 steps and keep reading.

1. Putting the Wheels

Greenworks 2000 PSI pressure washer comes with 10-inch plastic wheels for easy movability. Attach both plastic wheels simply with pin clip locks to the body.

There are 2 washers and 1 pin for each wheel. Put 1 washer on the wheel side and another one on the body side before inserting the clip.

2. Attach the Handle And Hose Holder

Now it’s time to attach its handle to the main body. Before fixing the handle, attach the electric cord holder, pressure hose holder, and spray tips holder with the handle with screws. Now handle is ready to be attached to the pressure washer body.

3. Get The Wand and Hose Ready

Now attach the spray gun handle and lance tightly with each other with your hands. There will be a plastic cap at the one end of the lance, remove it. Put this end of the lance in the gun and screw it tightly with your hand. Don’t over-tight it.

Note: This joint must be tight enough that there should not be a minor leak. If just air is leaking from the joint, it can cause a low water pressure problem in your machine. We hope you don’t want to spend more time washing your surfaces than it should take.

After assembling the lance, connect your pressure washer hose to the spray gun at its one end and to the pressure washer outer at one end. There is also a plastic cap on the gun where you have to attach the pressure hose, so remove it.

The pressure washer outer for the pressure hose is located at the back of the Greenworks 2000 PSI pressure washer.

Note: Again, these joints must also be tight enough that there should not be a minor leak. If just air is leaking from these joints, it can cause a low water pressure problem in your pressure washer.

Now the major assembly of your Greenworks 2000 psi pressure washer is done. It’s time to get it ready for the real fight with the dirt and grime. If used properly, it will not only clean your surfaces efficiently but also last for years to come.

From here, we will discuss the real question asked by many, how do you use your pressure washer step by step?

Now, this is the point where you think are ready to blast away dirt and grime from your car or other surfaces. But don’t just start your machine now. It’s very dangerous for your machine.

Dry Pump Can Be Dangerous

Don’t just run your pressure washer dry. It can severely damage the pump of your GreenWorks Pressure washer.

So What To Do?

You just have to pull out your wand and press the trigger before starting the pressure washer. You will see water flowing from the lance at the standard pressure like in the garden hose.

This process will lubricate the pump and the whole pressure washer system. Now after running water for 20-30 seconds you can release the trigger. If water is flowing consistently the whole time, you are ready to go to the next step.

So using a new Greenworks 2000 PSI pressure washer is easy but with these little tips, you can use it for years to come. Just don’t start your electric pressure washer dry.

5. Select the Required Tip or Nozzle

This part is a little tricky for many pressure washer users. Different pressure washer nozzles are designed for various tasks. Moreover, nozzles can also change the pressure of water.

So it is also important for you to know which PSI you need for the particular purpose.

For example, if you are pressure washing a car, you need a different PSI and a specific nozzle and if you are going to pressure wash a wooden deck you need a different nozzle for the deck.

Greenworks 2000 pressure washer comes with 4 nozzle tips including 0-degree, 25-degree, soap nozzle, and a Turbo nozzle. Now select the required nozzle and connect it with the spray gun with a simple quick connection.

You can also adjust the fan direction by rotating or twisting the nozzle after attaching it to the lance.

Note: When you want to pull it out repeat the process as above. Pull back the connector, pull out the nozzle, and you are done.

Remember: Don’t put these tips on with your Greenworks 2000 PSI pressure washer running. Always make sure that the machine is turned off.
